FULL TRUCKLOAD FREIGHT /FTL/
Freight transport from the EU to Armenia can be organized in two ways:
• Standard: 14-17 days
• Express: 7-11 days
Our service coverage includes all of Europe (EU member states, as well as the UK, Switzerland, Serbia, San Marino, Ukraine).
The vehicles serving us are Euro-5 and Euro-6 class, manufactured between 2012-2023, with over 450 tented trucks and 250 refrigerators, allowing us to transport freight safely, affordably, and in a short period of time.
Notably, in 2023, Garant Spedition, a transport company in Bulgaria, was launched, which is closely associated with "Garant Logistics."
Garant Spedition is a transport company that organizes seamless freight transport between Sofia-Tbilisi, Sofia-Yerevan, and vice versa.
The various freight vehicles owned by Garant Spedition allow us to be more flexible in ensuring the logistics chain.
Garant Logistics operates not only using the vehicles of Garant Spedition but also through over 200 vehicles from our international partners.
Such partnerships allow us to offer a wide variety of vehicles for all types of freight.
The maximum cargo weight for these vehicles ranges from 20-23 tons, while the volume is between 86-120 m³.
In addition to standard vehicles, Garant Logistics can offer transportation for non-standard freight using smaller vehicles with capacities ranging from 2 tons to 10 tons, open platforms, and specialized vehicles for transporting apparel, plants, hazardous goods (ADR), and other items with specific requirements.
Freight transport between Europe and Armenia and vice versa can be arranged either through intermediate re-forwarding or direct transport. Similarly, freight transport between Europe and Tbilisi can be arranged in the same manner.
LESS THAN TRUCKLOAD FREIGHT /LTL/
Any dry goods product with a minimum weight of 50 kg and volume of 1 m³ can be transported from a European manufacturer’s warehouse to Armenia’s customs terminal within 18 to 22 days.
These goods are mainly transported through Turkey, and before loading, our clients receive free consultation on the transport procedure, if necessary.
The standard dry goods transported are as follows: economic and industrial raw materials, hermetically sealed dry foods, automotive oils, tires, and vehicle maintenance parts (new only), apparel, cleaning products, equipment, beer, wine (up to 14% alcohol content), and other various products.
Garant Logistics can arrange the transportation of hazardous class goods through LTL, provided that the shipments are accompanied by required documents (MSDS, certificates) in accordance with EU regulations.
You can organize LTL freight with us under two delivery options:
Standard – 18-22 days
Express – 9-13 days
A crucial part of the entire freight transport process involves the European warehouses we operate.
Garant Logistics has key warehouses located in Sofia, Bulgaria, which allow us to provide the following group services during transportation:
Inspection of the appearance of packaged goods, as needed, reorganization and repackaging.
Inspection of accompanying documents for goods, correction of discrepancies.
Customs clearance of European-made goods during transport.
EXPORTS
With Garant Logistics, you can organize LTL freight transport not only from Europe to Armenia but also vice versa.
For freight transport from Armenia to Europe, our warehouses in Tbilisi, Georgia, and Sofia, Bulgaria, play an essential role.
Freight transport takes between 20 to 30 days, and after confirmation of the shipment, goods loading and export can be arranged within 2-3 business days.
AIR FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION
Distinctive in nature, air freight allows clients to organize transport with the shortest possible delivery times.
With us, you can arrange air freight with the following delivery options:
Door-to-door
The product is loaded from the supplier’s address and delivered to the recipient’s address.
This service includes customs and brokerage services in both Europe and Armenia, as well as terminal handling charges (THC).
Customs duties are not included and are paid by the sender and recipient.
Cargo-to-cargo
Responsibility for the goods begins when the sender hands over the freight at the airport.
This service includes 1 day of free storage of the goods at the customs terminal, and delivery to the agreed destination airport.
The service does not include terminal handling charges, customs and brokerage services, or customs duties.
Cargo-to-door
The transport starts when the goods are handed over to the airport’s customs warehouse and ends when the recipient receives the shipment at their warehouse.
This service includes air transport from airport to airport, customs and brokerage services, and delivery to the final destination.
Customs duties are not included in this service.
When organizing air freight with Garant Logistics, our clients receive high-quality customs and brokerage services, regardless of the chosen delivery condition.
Air freight can be organized for all types of goods.
In export cases, temperature-sensitive products must be packed in thermo boxes to avoid sudden changes in temperature during transportation.
During air freight, goods are transported either through direct flights or through multiple transit flights.
It is suitable to arrange air transport for freight ranging from one box to 7-10 pallets, with packaging weights between 20 kg and 5 tons.
For palletized freight, the product’s dimensions, particularly height, should be agreed upon with us before the product is handed over to the customs terminal.
MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT
Freight transport between Europe and Armenia can also be organized through a combined transport method, where various modes of transport are used.
Depending on the product type, quantity restrictions, desired transport price, and other factors, it is possible to organize multimodal transport from the origin to the final destination.
In multimodal transport, the entire transport process is divided into several stages, each organized with a different mode of transport.
Goods may be loaded into containers, transported to the nearest European port, re-forwarded to a truck, undergo customs clearance, and then reach the final destination.
This method can be used with any combination of air, road, and sea transport.
Multimodal transport can also include temporary storage and repackaging of goods using the key warehouses in Europe serving us.
CUSTOMS BROKERAGE SERVICES
The entire process of freight transportation, regardless of the selected transport mode, is closely tied to customs procedures. Proper documentation of goods is a crucial part of organizing a well-functioning logistics chain.
In this context, customs and brokerage services hold a significant role.
By cooperating with Garant Logistics, clients can benefit from customs and brokerage services in Armenia, as well as in Georgia and Europe (particularly in Bulgaria).
CLIENT CONSULTATION
All clients of Garant Logistics are entitled to receive free consultations regarding the organization of the entire logistics process.
For every type of product purchase/sale, when it is necessary to arrange freight transportation from Armenia or Georgia to Europe or vice versa, our clients receive free consultation on determining the best transport method for the specific goods.
During the consultation, the optimal transport method is selected, and all necessary documentation, customs and brokerage services, and the entire transport process are coordinated by the skilled professionals at Garant Logistics.
Our company provides comprehensive consultation to clients during the complexities of international trade, as well as the correct organization of the product purchasing and/or selling process. This enables them to carry out the purchasing, transportation, and customs clearance stages in the most efficient manner.
